Terms and Conditions

Note: Read through the Terms and Conditions and then fill out and sign the Reservation Form at the bottom.

Chobe Group Inc. doing business as African Adventures Unlimited is hereinafter referred to as African Adventures Unlimited.

RESERVATIONS AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

To confirm your reservation a 25% deposit must be received by African Adventures Unlimited with a signed African Adventures Unlimited Reservation form, within seven days of your verbal or written tentative confirmation. The balance of the tour price must be received not less than 60 days prior to departure. A late booking fee of $75 is applicable to reservations made within 30 days of departure. All payments must be in US dollars.

CANCELLATION PENALTIES AND REFUND POLICY

All cancellations take effect from the date they are received in writing by African Adventures Unlimited.

• 91 days or more prior to departure - 90% of tour price is refundable
• 90 - 46 days prior to departure - 75% of tour price is refundable
• 45 - 30 days prior to departure - 50% of tour price is refundable
• Within 30 days prior to departure - NO refund

Cancellation penalties apply to travel arrangements and charter transfers only. Cancellation on scheduled air arrangements will be subject to penalties as imposed by the carrier.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Fully comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory for your protection and ours. You will be separately billed for trip cancellation and interruption insurance underwritten by TRAVELGUARD upon confirmation of your reservation. If you decline, you must notify our office in writing. African Adventures Unlimited will not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of baggage and possessions.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

It is every passenger's responsibility to obtain visas for countries to be visited, to be in possession of a current passport, valid for at least six months from date of departure, a round-trip airline ticket and adequate funds for the duration of the stay.

ALTERATIONS TO TOURS AND ACCEPTANCE OF PASSENGERS

African Adventures Unlimited reserves the right to substitute accommodations and/or alter the itinerary as it may deem necessary or advisable, without notice. African Adventures Unlimited reserves the right to reject the application of any person as member of a tour or safari for any reason at any time.

LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

Performance by African Adventures Unlimited is subject to the express condition that neither it nor any its officers, directors, shareholders or employees shall be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, illness, defect, death, delay, cancellation, rescheduling or irregularity which may be occasioned by any act or omission of any company or person, including without limitation, any company or person engaged in conveying passengers, in carrying out the arrangements of the tours or safaris, or in providing lodging, food or other services. African Adventures Unlimited does not own, operate or in any manner control any subcontractor or provider of services or products, does not guarantee the performance of any such subcontractor, services or products, and expressly disclaims any liability whatsoever in connection therewith. African Adventures Unlimited is acting solely as agents for passengers in connection with travel arrangements provided by auto, bus, railroad, water vessels, aircraft or any other mode of conveyance and also with respect to accommodations, including sightseeing and meals. The suppliers of all such services and products are not agents or employees of African Adventures Unlimited. During your tour or safari some activities you participate in may expose you to a risk of serious injury. African Adventures Unlimited assumes no responsibility for your safety.

TOUR AND SAFARI PRICES

Prices quoted are current at the time of quotation, and are subject to change from time to time. African Adventures Unlimited reserves the right to increase previously quoted prices due to an increase in the cost of subcontracted products and/or services and/or fluctuations in foreign exchange rates.

NOT INCLUDED IN QUOTED PRICES

Prices quoted do not include air fares to the starting or from the termination point of safaris and tours, airport taxes of any nature, excess baggage charges as imposed by airlines, forwarding of baggage and purchases, cost of obtaining passports and visas, medical costs of any nature, items of a personal nature such as telephone calls, laundry and drinks (except where specifically included in the itinerary), some meals, gratuities to drivers/ guides, excursions or deviations from itineraries, baggage, trip cancellation and personal insurance, and any other item(s) indicated in the itinerary as not to be included.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Payment of the deposit and signing the African Adventures Unlimited Reservation form constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions as recited in this document and release African Adventures Unlimited from all claims arising from participating in a tour or safari.
