Day 1. Transfer to Mahenye Safari Lodge bordering the world famous Gonarezhou National Park. Enjoy game viewing activities offered by the lodge. Accommodation in thatched chalets with en suite facilities. L/D

Day 2. Enjoy game viewing activities offered by the lodge. Accommodation in thatched chalets with en suite facilities. Transfer to airport in afternoon. B/L

Gonarezhou National Park offers is situated in south east Zimbabwe at the conglomeration of the Save and Runde Rivers. The area offers an impressive array of rare birds and unique natural vegetation, making it an ideal place for ornithologists, ecologists and botanists to visit. The bat-eared fox, Liechenstein's hartebeest, nyala and roan antelope are just some of the species that can be found here, as well as the famous elephants of Gona-re-Zhou.

Mahenye Safari Lodge lies on an island situated on the Save River. The lodge is characterized by architecture which emulates the local Shangaan style of design, with its reed weaving and low thatched roofs. Each chalet nestles in its own private space under the large canopied trees that dominate the island.
