For the luxury minded traveler we offer this opportunity to enjoy some of the most popular attractions and highlights of southern Africa in ulitimate comfort and elegance. Accommodations are very carefully selected and all transfers and tours in South Sfrica are in Mercedes Benz sedans. Start off by spending 2 days at world renowned Sun City, just 90 minutes west of Johannesburg. After exploring Johannesburg, the "Golden City", on the third day, you depart with the elegant and world renowned Blue Train to Cape Town. The remainder of this 9 day package offers a variety of visits to the many beautiful attractions of Cape Town, the "Mother City". It includes coastal drives around the Cape Peninsula and a visit to the wine lands, including Stellenbosch. You also have a day at leisure to explore the Cape on your own.
DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1. Transfer from Johannesburg International Airport to Sun City. Accommodation in luxury rooms at the Palace at the Lost City. B only

The internationally acclaimed Sun City offers non-stop entertainment featuring international stars, casinos, several restaurants and bars, a health spa and two 18 hole golf courses. Other outdoor activities include water sports, tennis, squash, bowls and ten pin bowling. Game viewing can be undertaken in the Pilansberg Game Reserve.
The Palace at the Lost City is set within the ruins of an imaginary ancient African civilization, with an architectural style based on a vision of splendor, grace and majesty. One of its main features is the feeling of spaciousness. This unique resort includes waterfalls, hidden streams, fish ponds, bubbling cataracts and the ever flowing Sacred River, with its own beach and 6 foot waves.
Day 3. Transfer in mid-morning to Johannesburg. Accommodation at the Park Hyatt. B only
Day 4. Early morning transfer to Pretoria Station for departure on the world renowned Blue Train to Cape Town. Accommodation in deluxe rooms on the Blue Train. B/L/D
Recognized as one of the world's great trains (air conditioned) since 1939, the Blue Train has become a byword amongst international travelers of luxury and comfort. The journey to Cape Town covers approximately 951 miles in about 26 hours.
Day 5. Arrive in Cape Town at noon. Transfer to Table Bay Hotel. B only
Cape Town, with its dramatic Table Mountain backdrop is undeniably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Its setting among fertile valleys, coastal plains and rugged mountains provides unlimited creative inspiration to artists, writers and photographers. The city is abundantly endowed with a rich historical heritage and a fascinating "old world" ambiance is heightened by Georgian and Victorian buildings, cobble-stoned squares, mosques and flat-roofed homes. The cosmopolitan character of the city is further captured by an incredible variety of culinary traditions and excellent Cape wines.
Day 6. Enjoy a full day tour of Cape Point: drive through Sea Point and Camps Bay to the fishing village of Hout Bay; continue via Chapman's Peak coastal drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Accommodation at Table Bay Hotel. B/L
Day 7. Enjoy a full day tour of the Cape winelands: drive to Paarl to visit the Afrikaans Language Monument and the Drakenstein Valley; visit Franschoek with its Huguenot Memorial, before visiting Boschendal Estate and the Manor House for wine tasting; continue towards Stellenbosch for a visit at the local museum.
